KwaZulu Natal National Botanical Garden is a lovely place for a stroll or a picnic - you can bring your own or purchase lunch from the onsite restaurant Strelitzia Room (8:30am-4pm). The garden primarily features plants from the eastern part of the country with a special section dedicated to plants traditionally used by the Zulu for medicine, crafts and food.
