The main economic driver of this town is the tourism industry (with the farming of bananas and avocados coming in close second). There are a number of adventure activities and scenic sights around Hazyview, however most travelers choose this destination because of its close proximity to Kruger National Park – with the Phabeni Gate a mere 12 km, the Numbi Gate 15 km, and the popular Paul Kruger Gate 45 km away.
