Bushpackers is aptly named for its location. Nestled away from the main road in a quiet setting in the middle of the bush with t-shirts of fellow travelers from around the world pinned on the walls and ceiling. There is a central bar and lounge area with a braai pit outside and a scenic view overlooking the surrounding forest.

In addition to the small self-catering kitchen and a light snack menu that you can order from until the bar closes, Bushpackers offers home-cooked evening meals. To get here from Hazyview take the R40 heading North toward Phalaborwa, turn West on R536 toward Sabie, 2.6 km down on the right side of the road is the turnoff with a sign for Bushpackers, Gecko Lodge and Skyway Trails.
