Loerie Trail is one of the most popular day hiking trails in Sabie. It takes you through pine and blue gum plantations, as well as through indigenous forest and patches of grassland. The trail starting point is at the Castle Rock Caravan Park next door to Merry Pebbles or Bridal Veil Falls. Maps and permits are available right next to the Caravan Park at Merry Pebbles or at the Lowveld Tourism Information Center, or Trips SA.
