Mac Mac Pools has many small waterfalls, which are a result of the damming of the river. This is a great place to enjoy a swim and cool off from the hot African sun and have a braai at one of the picnic sites.

Heading toward Sabie on the R532, about 800m past the turn for Mac Mac Falls there is a "no littering" sign (coming from Sabie heading to Graskop you will actually see a small sign for Mac Mac Pools), take that turn for Mac Mac Pools.
